It is always difficult to extract in vivo information by non-invasive spectroscopy. This work uses near infrared to penetrate skin in combination of adjusting the focus of laser spot rendering the possibility of extracting information from the desired depth. Combined with chemometrics and PLS, the data was able to extract meaning glucose Raman intensity.
